There's nothing better than working all week and watching the game on Friday night, then having the whole weekend free.
Having the game on a Sunday takes up most of the day and you're unable to make other plans.'"
Spot on, Fridays for me.

Agreed. Just not the same on a Sunday, especially when you've been out on Saturday night

Thats all very well if you dont have kids and family.
Single lads paradise more like.
Family people with commitments mainly prefer Friday nights.

| Friday night all the way, and that's from someone who has to deal with the "M62 on a Friday night". Leaves the rest of the weekend free for the family.

| I dont like watching night matches, I prefer sundays or saturday nights when latics aint playing, it s a lot more relaxed on a sunday and you can enjoy the gameday atmosphere a lot more rather than rushing home, shi'ite, shower and shave then off out to rugby and scrapping for a car park space.

| I prefer saturdays, early enough finish to the game to make a night of it after the match with the better half who won't come to rugby but will turn out afterwards for a scoop. Also no issues with having to drag my 4rse along the M6 through Birmingham on a Friday afternoon if the game is on a Saturday.
As a second alternative if that old c0cks footy team is playing at the stade de cruste on a Saturday, more than happy to go with sunday games

| For me personally it doesnt make much difference, if we played at midnight on mars im sure most of us would make it!. But my husband does monday - friday shifts and has to use approximately 8 days of his annual holidays a year to attend friday night games, thats alot when you only get 20 days a year plus the BH., and that doesnt take count of the holidays used for the magic weekend, Celtic weekend and catalan away.

| Friday for me. I love racing out of work on a Friday night (having been pre-occupied with rugby-thoughts all afternoon) grabbing an earlier train and releasing the week's tensions at the game. A few drinkies afterwards is always a delight too. Then the rest of the weekend is free to do other nice things.

| difficult one.
friday night because ive more chance of going , plus i make it a night out and have a few beers and a takeaway on way home.
sunday so i can take the toddler and we can all go as a family, but ive less chance of attending sundays because of my kids other sporting activities, hence i missed celtic game.
so im going friday purely on a selfishness basis
