watched the match on telly, totally unbiased as I am a Leigh supporter,I would just like to make a comment, The winger Ainscough looks to be an excellent prospect He puts me in mind of the Late Joe Walsh, you must keep hold of players like this, they are the future, dont let him become another Hodgson or Colbon

The biggest urban myth going. The NRL is fantastic, i guess though if you do not like players with pace flair and skill, who rip into each other at ridiculous intensity then its not the comp for you. |

Thats about it. People that don't enjoy the NRL are probably those same people who thought Tony Smith got the WC squad right and can't understand how Higham didnt scoot the trophy home. |

just watched Canterbury and Manly ,NRL is light years ahead of SL I'm afraid. Just take both leagues for what they are and enjoy them !

There is a lot more dross in the NRL than there was couple of years ago. |

This has been done to death. The fact is it was (with probably the odd exception) the best squad available. We just weren't good enough. |

I though for a long time now the standard of our junior and academy/reserve leagues in this country has more to do with our poor performance at test level than the standard of SL. This, and the standard of coaching in this country are the 2 things that need addressing the most.

Exactaly. Leeds recognised this this a couple of years ago. Which is generally why the best U18s play in the reserves, and the best U21s go out on loan or come into the first team. |

It's a matter of personal choice you di[ipsh[/iit. I prefer to watch SL but it doesn't mean i don't like or watch the NRL. Doesn't make me right, doesn't make the bollox you write any more plausible either. Urban Myth doesn't come into it - it's just opinion and a personal preference. |
