I’m sure some would put me in the ‘happy clapper’ category. I’m pretty patient and a glass half full type of person but this has been terrible.

Our biggest issue is one that is very easy to resolve. We have no line speed in defence. Week after week we invite teams to run at us and make ground. When you couple that with our inability to make ground ourselves we make life incredibly difficult for ourselves.

I’m not generally in favour of sacking coaches but in this case I’m starting to feel it may be the best course of action.

Our discipline is shocking, and most of the time it is Smithies, Partington, Byrne and Shorrocks. Someone needs to put a rocket up them. Sadly we don't have the depth to replace them.
