I don't have a problem with the kits personally (although this year's home kit is a stinker) but kits come and go. You live with them for a season then the next one comes along. You can't change your club's crest though and expect no comebacks without any notice or warning and especially when it is so mediocre and ridiculous. I will never subscribe to it i'm afraid, it's ripped the tradition from the club for me. It's synonymous with former glories and players and the crest i grew up loving. I get it's not a big deal to some but the NRL pandering has taken over our game. The only thing i will give St Helens credit for is they didn't add a stupid name to their town name like St Helens Buffalos or something stupid along the lines. Things move on and the sport gets updated but adding ridiculous names to your town team name and swapping badges for reasons that make no sense and won't attract 1 new supporter is just doing things for the sake of it. I have no issue with the Wigan Casino thing because it's part of Wigan Heritage and will only be here for a season but nothing i buy will ever have that new badge on it. I will be wearing retro jerseys.

They weren't part of the history of the club. All about some eyes that look nothing like eyes.

They haven’t done any of that at all. They’ve simply changed and modernised the badge and they’ve tinkered with the style of the kit, which they do every few seasons anyway. Embrace change, don’t resist it.

Modernised it, told us that we need to look ahead and then put a 50yr old northern soul emblem on the away shirt

They've changed the badge and aside from using A&L.have used nothing of the clubs previous crest and therefore identity.

Plenty clubs change the crest but they always keep something that relates to the previous crest and the clubs history. Even when Vincent Tan decimated Cardiff City he kept a bluebird on there.

The kit I can handle (just) but the badge is different.

I've already seen plenty people who posted online that they hate the badge have bought the kit or training wear and as long as that happens clubs will continue to treat fans like . They know they have us in their pockets.

If Asda double the price of every item tomorrow then you will probably go to Tesco for your bsked beans and loaf of bread. They would never do that.

Sports clubs know they have a percentage of fans that will buy anything (look at the state of that man utd 3rd kit. They'll still sell millions worldwide) they tell them to.

If fans boycotted (sales of Cardiffs home kit crumbled whereas the away kit rocketed) I would guarantee that all the reasons they have given would suddenly disappear.

Sadly....it won't happen.

Does it really matter to you anyway? Just another year where you dig out the old 1989 away kit that you never seem to have off your back.

Seeing the Hull kit gives me hope for 2022 at least. Absolute cracker there.
