We were beaten by a better side but there was improvement and we have a lot more of it in us. We move on.'"
Can’t disagree with any of that. Especially the comments on Tommy and Zak.
Promising signs and need to carry momentum

You are totally wrong re the Isa yellow card though
Disgusting decision by Thaler
Annoyed he never checked the charnley try (escare knock on) for offside.
Him and philbin (I think) looked 10 yards offside'"
Who knows? Perhaps he was evening it out from the missed shoulder charge on Austin? We all know Thaler is 3!

Leuluai at hooker and Hardaker were the two main positives. I thought Sammut was pretty anonymous though, bar a few decent kicks.

Flower has been superb this season in all facets of his game. Missed him tonight.

| Sammut was a huge improvement on Powell, with Tommy at 9 and Shorrocks off the bench we looked much better.
A kicking game at last...praise the Lord.

Really? I would say he’s been ‘solid’.....ie what you would expect from a prop forward as standard. I suppose compared to the rest you could class him as superb.

Bullock and Hamkin can't be immune from criticism either tonight - Bullock's defensive effort their second try was appalling and Hamlin gave up possession far too often.

It wasn’t missed?
He got put on report.
One thing that was missed was Westwood pushing the knee into TL’s throat, pinning him on the ground and weirdly receiving a pen for tommy not clearing the ruck.
That was a head scratcher
Not that I’m trying to go tit for tat

I think that is harsh on Flower and if Bullock can increase his fitness and minutes will be a good asset for us.

No, because it would likely end up going to golden point! Your lot dished plenty out as well, and always have done. I didn’t mean the shoulder was missed, but that he should’ve rightly gone for it. But instead whoever you play next week will likely get the benefit if he’s banned.

Hamlin needs to sort his attitude for my money. Has potential but drops far to much ball and spends the whole game winging at the red and flapping his arms around trying to milk decisions. Annoying...
Bullock ran well tonight but agree. Poor in defence but it mostly looked like poor positioning. Benefit of the doubt for me as he has massive potential I think.
Great work rate too for a big unit.

| That call on the Isa drop out incident was appauling. 13-11 with a penalty under the sticks and we would have had a great chance to win it.
Despite being second best all game.
Thaler gave us nothing 12-4 penalty count and at least two of ours we’re on a tackle one.

The “one on one steal” was shocking too. Rules say if more than one player effect a tackle and all but one drop off, it’s still a steal.

| thought you looked proper ordinary tonight. resorted to some pretty shoddy tactics..no surprise there. The shoulder charge on Austin nearly brought you back into it...thankfully we managed to get through with 11 men and staying in 3rd gear. Westwood is a liability. Enjoy your relegation fight with Leeds and Huddersfield.
