If only we could stop scoring those pesky tries, you might have half a point.
Gleeson's score at OT was indeed a 'borefest'.

| This bit is the best.
"It's just a case of doing the best you can against that. I think the governing bodies are on to it and looking at it. It's just very hard to see on a field."
So where can you see it?
What a tit brain.

I think the coaches coming out and saying stuff is funny, shows how much they fear us. But when opposition fans jump on everything they say and believe it and try to justify it for themselves, then it becomes boring.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

From a very young age you get told to slow the play the ball down so the defensive line can get back into place, we are just doing it to perfection with 2 men tackling up top with the 3rd wrapping the legs up and tackling the opposition player so that they cannot offload or make anymore yards as well as squeezing the life out of the opposition player in the meantime, nothing but perfect technique is to blame so Potter and the likes can go and whistle, we are a very well drilled defensive and attacking unit.

Your dodgy Australian inspired techniques have been well and trully exposed, and are common knowledge throughout the game, including Redhall. Hopefully the new regulations will put an end to your borefest, and the Rugby League will once again be the fast attacking spectacle that most fans would prefer to watch.
You have the option of changing, or be continually pinged by the ref before he loses patience and starts waving cards.
Simples really.'"
i will never get bored of us stifling oppossition attacks and slowing them down.
i can watch the quick play the ball and open rugby when we have possession

Other teams fans coming on here making puddings of themselves because they're obsessed with Wigan is just as much fun as far as I'm concerned.

| Well certainly ruffled a few feathers on here!
Hope plenty of you are coming to Odsal on Sunday, should be a decent crowd and atmosphere. With the positive signs we have seen in the last couple of months I am hopeful we'll give you a run for your money.

| Quote: Wigan have been accused of adopting the technique of employing dummy runners, whereby a player acts as though he is about to receive the ball when he isn't, allowing his team mates a greater chance at scoring. "Champions Wigan have been accused in the past of adopting tackle techniques that deliberately slows the play of the ball, halting the momentum of the attacking side and allowing their own defence to reorganise.'"
This is getting so tiring now. I mean whatever next, "Wigan have been accused of adopting the technique of employing dummy runners, whereby a player acts as though he is about to receive the ball when he isn't, allowing his team mates a greater chance at scoring." Bad Wigan! Bad Wigan!
Unfortunately (for the game) this is being taken seriously. The Cas/Wakefield game refereed by James Child last Saturday might as well have been touch rugby.
