I can see a pattern....this time last year there would have been a covid breakout at saints (again)

Grace played his 1st game this season last week against Whitehaven and picked up a leg knock in the last 5 mins.
Walmsley and Matautia have missed every game since Warrington. Hopoate has barely played at all and Lees has missed the last two.

Walmsley being saved for the cup by the sounds of things.'"
He’s had a hamstring injury for 3 weeks.
Hopoate also hamstring. As is Matautia I think.
Lees ankle.
Grace went off against Whitehaven.

Why can injuries not improve in the next 8 days haha.
Desperate attempts here tonight to now claim we don’t have injuries we are actually just resting folk

Oh aye, I know he’s been injured but the update on the box tonight was that they’d decided not to risk it. Makes perfect sense with the cup game next week and then Good Friday coming up.
You could’ve beat Leeds with another 4 or 5 missing tonight (not sure Leeds would’ve scored even if you didn’t bother replacing them).

Their attack is woeful mate. Austin constantly running up blind alleys. Our defence is absolutely superb but they didn’t offer enough quality or variety to worry us.

I thought they showed plenty of spirit but yeah, that attack is woeful. It’s not going to get any better for them if Oledzki and Bentley miss many games.

I don’t think being a top 10 player in a position like wing, when there are two of them, I’d pushing ‘world class’ too far but you do and that’s fair enough. If we’re just saying world class is being good enough to stake a claim for a world 13 (for example) then no way Makinson makes it and dare I say it, but Walmsley doesn’t either (or Bateman).'"
Arguably not world class then

Bateman was world class at Canberra but he isn’t now at Wigan.
That isn’t to say he cannot regain that status but at the minute he’s in the good to very good status with excellent and world class still ahead of him.

Frankly I’m surprised Wolfe didn’t order a round of tea and digestives midway through the first half I doubt Leeds would have hot past the team sat down and Roby playing “mother” pouring the tea so abject Leeds where…and to think pundits had them down for silverware mainly it seems on the back of a few very dodgy signings.
