Personally, I buy retro tops as opposed to the new stuff as it's usually way over priced and I hate the way t-shirts have sponsors all over them like an advert. Does that make me "embarassing"

Calling someone a lesser fan because of how they choose to spend their own money is a bit laughable. If someone doesn't like something, why should they have to buy it?

Personally I think replica wear (shirts might just be acceptable) should be for kids. Being a grown adult, & walking around in full club tracksuits isn't for for me. That however doesn't make me a "lesser" fan than others and it certainly doesn't give me the right to judge others on how they spend their money.

That’s your opinion. I’ll buy the new shirt next season, it’s the only memorabilia I will buy. I buy it exactly because it’s got the Wigan badge on it, irrespective of whether I like the badge or not.

The eye roll was at the comment stating fans who do just that are as embarrassing as those throwing a temper tantrum vowing never to buy anything again purely because they’ve thrown the toys out the pram. I’m amazed you think both are equally as embarrassing to be honest.

I’m not saying they should but to purely base it on the fact they’ve thrown a strop over the badge is embarrassing. I’m into the retro stuff, it’s good clobber, I agree re the sponsors, I prefer my shirts basic as the once were but times have changed.
