I agree it's not a pi**ing contest, just pointing out the flaws in the comparisons.
I would say Wigan are more effected by their absentees, but that's because the players stepping up for us are better.
No Leeds aren't missing first choice wing or prop, neither are Wigan missing two hookers and having to play a second row there and drag Sinfield out of position to do a job there too. Regarding that, Sutcliffe has come on in previous games when Si field has moved to 9. He's at centre tonight so we have to reshuffle too there.'"

I would say in general play leeds were battered but not on the scoreline, you need to buy moon some stick mits and i wouldn't be here gloating

Point he is making is that you should have battered us considering the amount of players missing and a few were carrying injuries into the game. Also a training session got cancelled as we only had 8 players fit.
Strength in depth at the moment is huge and its getting bigger apparently according to a very dependable person on another board Joel Tomkins is returning.
I was telling regular punters in work on Tuesday to put money on Leeds to win with Wigan having a 20 start. Thought it would have been easy money. Luckily o do not gamble. |

We shouldn't have battered you. Win possibly, battered no.
We desperately missed TWO hookers tonight and arguably the most exciting back in SL in Watkins tonight so we had issues ourselves. I would imagine a few of our guys were carrying knocks as well, Delaney (shoulder) and Hardaker (thigh) were both carrying koncks vs Cas last week.
Whilst I would agree you were missing more, the "injury crisis" at Wigan has been massively over exaggerated. |
