George Carmont has been sensational this year for Wigan and has certainly scored the best centre’s tries this season. The one thing that has mainly been a given throughout the season is a Sam Tomkins break and if he doesn’t score then George Carmont on the other side scores within the next couple of play the balls. Ryan Atkins has had a good season but I think George’s season easily tops that. Especially when he scored those brilliant tries in the world club challenge and exiles games.

I have to say George has been superb for us again. That said, if Atkins had been announced as a Wigan player for next year I don't think many on here would be too disappointed! I'd be happy to see him at Wigan.

Eddie's rational stance is needed to balance Clarke's constant pro-wigan hysteria. The quicker that muppet gets the tin tack the better.

As I said, he likes to play devil's advocate. When Gleeson went to Hull, he said something a long the lines of "Surely if you leave Wigan, the only way is down."
As I said, he just like to get the other guys on the show talking.

I don't particulary rate his knowledge of RL, but as a commentator, the mere sound of his voice adds a drama not there when Bill Arthur is commentating.

Perhaps Radlinski can do it ??

After all with Clarke, Carney, O'Connor, McDermott it's part of the qualifications of the job to be an ex-Wigan player. Just as long as there's no bias eh ?
