33718_1325770967.jpg Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

| Sorry AJ but don't agree there. If your boss slagged you off with a group and you didn't deserve it Im sure you wouldn't be too happy. Ainscough is only 19 and is going a great job. Not sure whether or not they would be reading the boards - next time I see him I will ask. My mum always told me if you can't say something good then don't say anything at all and I try (not always successful) to do this. Don't see the point of shouting obscenities hardly good motivation is it

| Nowhere near as annoying as a woman sat near us who had the most cringeworthy voices, "that's disgusting that is" about 10 thousand times when Paddy got a shot on him. "Their fans are making them turn against the ref" blah blah blah, just coming up with complete and utter drivel.
The best one was though, "If that wasn't a high tackle then I don't know what was" clearly it wasn't a high tackle as he would of given it! Some of our fans are utterly clueless when watching a game, sometimes makes me wonder do they actually know the rules. Anyone who was seated on the side towards the screen will know who I'm on about!

| Quote: Cruncher "There'll always be this argument about whether teams who are showing nothing should be given stick or noisily supported.
I'm divided on this. Emotion often gets the better of me and I shout angrily during matches, but I pride myself on never having booed. '"
Well I don't know about anyone else but when at games my vocal support is kind of automatic. By which I mean if the team are defending the line or close to the oppositions line for example, I automatically shout encouragement. If a player makes a howler of a mistake I will usually curse or groan - it's an automatic response.
If I see players being slow to a scrum as has been mentioned then I will yell at them to get a move on - again it's an automatic response.
I have never yet been able to condition myself to cheer a poor performance and I also do not go to games intending to give team team a hard time either.
I simply react to what I see and if what I see is generally of a poor standard then you won't get cheering or clapping from me. But even when playing poorly if they get a sniff of try or are defending the line it's back to shouting my support. And so on.
Isn't reacting to what you see or has gone on normal!!??
If that means the players end up with more people groaning at them then surely it's just because they have played badly?

Firstly, my boss loves me.
But again, its a totally different situation, if I knew I was doing my job, but as a group/team overall we weren't hitting targets/performing etc then its only right the team get a combined bollocking. That being said, if I knew I was doing my job, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Given Ainscough is top try scorer in SL, im sure he is aware he isn't the main problem we currently have.

| Well I was clapping on Monday, and hooting with laughter too .
Though, if I'd paid hundreds of pounds to go over to France and had seen my team look as unfit and just downright disinterested as your lot did at times during the match I'd have been ranting big style.
For me, players should get support when they deserve it, if they are trying their damndest but it isn't coming off then thats's fine I support them, but to cheer them on when they look less interested than the hot dog seller is pretty idiotic.
