I would say "Yes", and that you're not the type of fan who will be missed.'"
Only just seen this.
I went into depth a while back, I'm not against anti-racism. Just because you don't support something doesn't mean you are against it. It's like having a badge to say you are not homophobic, so on that basis people who don't wear the badge are homophobic are they? What tosh and its the same with this.

Your position isn't that though is it?
What your actually saying is, your refusing to be served or buy a product from the person wearing that Anti Homophobia badge.
If you went to a restaurant, or a pub, etc and one of the staff or the pub itself displayed an Anti Homophobia message would you refuse to eat/drink or buy a product from there?
Making an analogy doesn't mean that your analogy is accurate

Was about to write pretty much exactly what Jukes has written I.e. 'presumably you wouldn't boycott anyone who wears a pride badge?'

If I ran a pub, resaurant or business and somebody turned up for work displaying any form of support for a politcal cause then I would ask them to remove said paraphernalia regardless of what they supported.

Thats not what I asked
Are you saying you would not attend, purchase, frequent etc any venue, business, product if that particular business displayed an anti homophobia, racism, etc message?

You know us as a club can show we are not racists by not being racists and punishing any racist comments or actions commited by fans, staff and players alike. But in the 30 years of me going to games I've never once heard any form of racist slur or abuse. In fact I'd say rugby league always has been a very tolerant sport both fans and players alike because we as a sport have always been outcasts anyway when compared to football, cricket, union etc.

You just said just because I used an analogy doesn't make it right and are making your own point with an analogy.
If I went to Galloways every Saturday for a pie barm and then all of a sudden they stopped concetrating on making pies, got all political and started preaching about political struggles then I'd go to Greenalghs.

If Galloways had a sticker on their window that said we support LGBT would you stop going there?
With regards to taking knee, are you saying Wigan's BAME players are preaching about political struggles? It isn't political, its their lives, their upbringing, their experiences.

In this simple view, if everyone who was not racist continued doing so and didn't go to extra efforts to try to make a difference then nothing would change...

Yip
Because your analogy wasn't a correct comparison to your stance with Wigan
Your analogy was that you would let someone else wear an anti homophobic badge and whilst you support anti homophobia without wearing a badge.
Your stance currently with Wigan though is that you won't support anyone who wears the badge i.e. Wigan and/or the players & not that you won't let them get on with it because they feel the need to and you yourself won't wear the badge, which im sure everyone would be fine with, you want them to stop wearing the badge.
So your analogy was incorrect.
What makes you say "stopped concentrating on making pies" ? You do realise they're not mutually exclusive?
You can do both
Anyway, you've answered my question, you just want people to get on with things and any issues they have not interfere with anything you do/buy etc?
I could go on but I won't

I find the term BAME racist.

The players can wear whatever they want in their own time, whilst wearing ths cherry and white hoops I don't want anyone using ths club as a platform to promote what I believe a political issue no matter how relevant it is whether its supporting a politcal party, striking workers, the NHS, leave or remain, a rise in minimum wage, justice for someone wrongly imprisoned, or campaigning against the removal of the Marus Bridge roundabout.

What's political about the NHS???
Good job you've boycotted the club then. The Emergency Services game against Catalans when the players take the knee would really get your blood boiling.
