I'd certainly give him another year's extension. He showed today some real nice touches with and without the ball, he's slowly but surely becoming a player that could be of great use to us in the future.

It's his demeanor on the pitch which I feel doesn't endure him to the fans.

If Pryce carries on playing and improving the way he is i see no reason to offer him another extention.

The contract situation is currently a mess because of the up and down form of players, at the beginning of the year, Phelps was sure to stay and Pryce to go for example, now that seems to have reversed. Coley & Fielden are immense, Feka will be the fall guy at prop.

Carmont, Deacon & Bailey all will go imo.

Keep the majority together and certainly the talented youngsters like Prescott, Mcilorum, Goulding and Hansen. All of them give us depth, fill a role in the side and with relative low wages it means we can afford top players.

Bailey, Phelps, Fielden, Deacon and Feka out and we'd only need one top line prop in and possibly Ratchford as Phelps/Deacons replacement. That's 5 out, two top earners btw, and only two in.

The ones who look vulnerable are Feka, Phelps and Bailey.
Fielden will stay on a Lenagan style contract rather than Mo's.
Pryce will stay I think as he's now being picked whereas Phelps is not.
All the others will stay.

I can see a massive overhaul in terms of players leaving.

For example, if we have a fully fit squad, the following OOC players wouldn't even be in many peoples first teams..

Bailey
Phelps (Perhaps)
Pryce
Deacon

Factor into it that Fielden and Coley are OOC as well, I could see 4 maybe 5 players leaving, most of whom you would assume to be on good money. And when you consider that if we release all these players we'd sign (assuming) 1 or 2 quality signings who'd then go into the first team, that'd mean another 2 players being shifted from the starting lineup.

Add in Ben Davies who's ripping it up at Widnes, and a few other youngsters pushing for the first team, I still could see Feka, Bailey, Phelps, Prescott, Fielden OR Coley leaving. If we replaced them with a quality prop and halfback we'd look a lot stronger imo with still enough depth with squad players like Goulding, Marsh, Davies, Vievers, Farrell etc.
