Imo we have a right to know if noble will be here next season or not and other things going on at the club, at the last fans forum didn't il go off on one cause he didn't like the questions beeing asked???
No, He went off on one because the guy who was given 1 question asked numerous questions and didn't like any of the answers IL gave him!
So next season we dont know if we have a coach!
I am 100% positive we will have a coach, I don't think IL is that stupid!
We have the same squad whats played mainly boring rugby!
In your opinion, 14 from the last 19 begs to differ and as on many other thread more points scored, less points conceded, more tries from the backs than any season since 2004!!!!!!
I think it's a myth that every other team is playing some kind of magical fantastic brand of rugby and we are not.
I think there just all level! That's a different argument!
The only thing what makes sence is we have got kearney and can only announce after the 4 nations'"
Or another Coach who is currently employed by another club and/or visa protocol means we need to dot the I's and cross the T's before we announce something that can't happen and make ourselves look stupid! |

I am sure the above applies to 75% of the eams in the League!
Saying that some of them HKR/Hudds/Cas may actually get over excited about something that if we were watching would call boring at times purely due to their previous lack of success!
I am pretty positive that outside the Top 2 (And ask Saints fans how the last 10 weeks have gone!) the others are doing exactly what we are! |

Yeah i agree but we aint had success in quite a few years and that is mainly cause when we get to the big games we cant take our game to a diffrent level and get found out |

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.

A prop should have been the priority, but with 5 first team props on board, and 2 of those massive earners within the club it wouldn't have been sensible cap management for sign another prop, whether we needed it or not.
As for Gleeson, he's not shown top form, but look at the impact he's had on the right hand side of our defence since he came, we used to leak tries down that side regularly and he's sured it right up. After he arrived we also scored a heck of a lot more tries down that wing than we have for the last 2/3 seasons purely because we got a decent centre in there.
He may be past his best, but he made us a much better side. |

Probably is, But is the right one available at a price that's worth it???
I know pretty much for a fact that we could have signed 3 Aussies This summer for next season, For various reasons all 3 were not considered "Worth" it.
We have to remember that we have 5 props already, 2 of which are on contract till end of next year and 99% certain no-one will take off us at the money there on.
1 has just had by the majority of opinions a Very good season (Coley) and probably got the extension due to the lack of availability of a "Worht it" prop elsewhere.
And 2 x Youngish props is Prescott/O'Carroll who no-one wants to let go apparently.
Me, I'd keep Prescott and let O'Carroll go and use Mossop as the 5th prop but that's another story.
So if 5 props + Mossop & Possibly Davies for a game or 2 next season isn't enough then what the hell are we doing!

We are not at full cap! Even with the younger lads getting extra £££££££££. Who has said we are?
And yes certain players are being overpaid, Fielden being main culprit, but I don't blame him for what he's on and considering what he did in hos 1st 3 months I still think it was worth it.
However
The exact same problem that is a Millstone round our neck some fans want us to recreate just to get a Marquee player in that May or May not work out, I believe the decision on the 3 we turned down was the right one. |
