Why are so many folk assuming that the game means nothing as we will beat Saints in the final game of the season?
Just because we have beaten Saints three times this season doesn't give us the divine right to assume we will roll them over again. If Wire win on Saturday they are just one point behind us so if I assume (like a lot of other folk are certainly doing) that both Wire and us win all the remaining games up to round 27 and we still have Saints to play in the last match - nothing would give our friends o'er the hill more pleasure than denying us the LLS even though winning the game may not alter their own standing in the league. End result? Wire win the LLS by one point like they did last year.
Did Jack Drearden ask Finchy where he was going next year? I imagine not but the answer would have been interesting
