I would but no trains back to Stafford from Cardiff on the Saturday after the game. Going up to family in Wigan to watch it instead, total £10 for train, including first class on the way back.

Ive never been to cardiff, can you freely go in and out of the ground during the course of the day or is it once you are in you stay in ?

If so is there other things going on around the ground as i cant see my little lad being very still during the games until Wigan kick off at 7

Last time we went they gave us a wristband to wear, allows you to come and go as you please. Plenty to do within walking distance of the ground as it's located right within the City Centre.

To compare, think of Old Trafford located two streets away from Picadilly Square in Manchester.
