Well...I can tell you what I saw...a few Rovers supped a few too many on the way over.

One lad in a grey top (early 20s, tall, fat, a big lad) was evicted at the front of the North early on, and on the way out he swung a punch at a steward (much smaller, easily in his 60s). It looked to me like he connected at least slightly, but the steward seemed to shrug it off.

Another lad tried to get past the stewards early in the 2nd half, and towards the end another lad in a grey top (again, fat and tall - might even have been the same lad but don't think so) was evicted, this one went kicking at the hoardings & screaming like a girl.

Their mates were playing up all match, bickering with the stewards and ended up with a group of stewards lined up in front of them.

That, and plenty of stuff being chucked throughout the match - I saw items thrown on 5 separate occasions.

Shame, because the majority are great fans, good banter and great support - superb. The morons stood out a bit too much tonight.

Quote: I8pies "To be fair Leeds is a Soccer city .... the Whino's play in the shadow of LUFC (even when they're in the lower leagues) .... thats why their crowds are so poor for a genuine "city" team.'"

the point i was making was that they are normally the best supported home team (just had to have a dig at the whino on the board), but their away support for such a succcesful team is crap

no point in them having a pop at HKR or a wigan fan complementing HKR as 3rd best away support this year behind 2 local sides, when they cant turn up themselves, and never really have

icon_biggrin.gif There are no terraced houses behind the West Terracing. There's a couple of semi detached's and they are too far away for anyone to throw something onto the pitch.

I suspect it was one of your lot, overcome with excitement at being in the big city, and perhaps a wee bit perplexed with the workings of a flush toilet took it back to show his mates. As none of them could come up with a reasonable explanation, he simply responded in typical Wigooner fashion and lobbed it on the pitch. icon_wink.gif

Course it could have come from one of the semi's .... they only stopped building outside toilets in Leeds in 2009 !

By the way are Yorkshire folk toilet trained these days?

Last week only being a qualifier and this week being an elimination may have something to do with the levels of travelling support although it appears to work the other way round for the home supporters judging by the last two weeks.

Hopefully next weekend will see two full houses, that'll be a novelty .... if it happens.

It's a shame a very small minority decided to act stupidly - KR have some of the best fans in the league and I hope this won't change their reputation.

Thanks for the understanding, very magnanimous of you all.

Hopefully your cctv will have got images of the mindless perpetrators and they'll be banned from every sports arena in the country forever.

It did seem the same bloke was thrown out twice icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for your understanding in the main on here, sadly we do have a small element who are more interested in getting tanked up than actually watching the rugby. They are in the minority and I won't apologise for them because they are not true Hull Kingston Rovers fans, if they were they wouldn't put the future of the club at risk by behaving the way they do. Incidentally I thought you stewards handled the situation very well.

Someone knows who they are and I hope they name and shame them, get rid of them good and proper.

Thanks for another great night.

Quote: Yed "Amazing, couple of KR fans are noobs and Wigan fans recognise that the majority are a good bunch ?

Just because a few Wigan fans have called Wire fans a bad bunch, doesn't mean all Wigan fans think the same. Works both ways, dunnit?
