How does the change affect you if you are stopping in Barca? Have you booked a hotel in Perps for the day of the game?

Personally I think it would be farcical if they did switch it after so many have booked their flights and accom.

It would make the feedback our club asked for like a token gesture. Bit like when the government says "we'll listen". They listen they just don't take any notice of what you're saying.

If the stumbling block is really the transfers from Perpignan to Montpelier they have missed the point entirely! people have made different arrangements around this date and venue according to thier own circumstances and sorted thier hard earned summer hols around it!

I have said before that what i'm spending on the family being at the game could turn two weeks in Florida into three if they want to start being daft with fixtures like this.

I feel sorry for any French fans who were messed around by Wigan changng a fixture but two wrongs would not make it right.

For gods sake what are they waiting for to announce this decision.
Or are they trying to make special arrangments for all the complaints they'll be getting?

It's been mentioned so many times already, CST and our club announced trips to Perpignan. Make changes? I've made no changes, the airline made them without my input.

My money is on...
Everyone who has already made plans being ignored and "fobbed" off with the so called solution of coaches from Perpignan.

What this does not address is the fact that had they said Montpellier people would have chosen to fly to airports around Montpellier. Or would have had the choice to make that decision.
If your stying in Spain you could easily be facing a three or four hour trip each way on the day of the match - which I doubt you would have chosen to do.

What will happen in the event that someone is due to arrive on the Sunday who would make the game in Perpignan but would not reach montpellier in time.
Will they get a refund of their tickets as they seem likely to be renderred useless.


This whole thing stinks.
if this is moved, as it looks like it will be, what exactly was the point of the club asking what people thought? They would not have listened. So presumably all it would have been for was for someone at the RFL (not the club) to see how many people they would be annoying and the likely cost of keeping them quiet.

The real cost will come next time we played them on a date likely to be cold and wet when an awful lot of people will just think they'll give it a miss.

Is this announcement going to be anytime this year? Would be nice to know if ive got to waste money trying to get myself to Montpellier!!!
