interestingly, considering the bile directed at each other by both sets of supporters over the past week. Both are fairly middling in their misconduct penalties.
Just be thankful you arent playing Les Catalans or either of the Hull clubs,

Have a look on Youtube at all the videos involving Bailey. I couldn't find one where he actually stands toe to toe with anybody. He basically shats them and runs.

| Looking at the comment made by Peacock they are aimed for 1 thing to try and stir Wigan and get a reaction on the pitch. For the first time we are going to a a final eliminator with a real chance of winning it. Its not a question of how Leeds play but of how we do. If we stick to the way we played for the most part against HKR then i think we will win. If the players start losing focus and letting the baiting get to them then we will get into a slug fest and we cant win that type of game.
Weve been to Leeds 2 out of the last 3 years at this stage and lost and Leeds were big favourites that time. This is different they are missing 2 key players and Peacock knows if we get into a rhythym keep control then Leeds are in trouble. We start looking for a fight we will lose.
All the players need to do is walk away. 2 weeks ago that game is no longer a factor and should be seen like that.

| Quote: SmokeyTA "that isnt true at all, you have given 40 misconduct penalties away this year, Leeds have given away 42, thats over the course of a whole season, hardly a difference is it.
You have had 7 players sin binned to Leeds 4, and have had 3 players banned, as have Leeds.
You have given away 16 more technical penalties than Leeds which is more than anyone in the league.'"
Your sin bin and ban point is redundant as we all know Leeds get away with Sin Binning and bans.
At least 1 should be removed from Wigan and one added to Leeds for the ablett attack on sam and for the so called 'late tackle' by Coley. Also if you want to go on McGuire probably would have been sin binned if not donald in the closing stages of the last play off game.
Bailey should have been sin binned for that raised knee on Carmont as I believe that is dangerous play.
And I bet there's loads more points from other Leeds games that were sure sin bins but obviously I don't pay attention to Leeds if they aint playing Wigan.

Luckily though we are Leeds and the RFL are in our pockets... can you imagine what state we would be in if they weren't bias?
I wouldnt be able to watch the sport!

| FFS at the end of the day nobody knows if Mags pulled the player down on purpose or if it was a natural reaction to grab hold when your ligament snaps. Likewise who is to say Carmont from 50 out would have scored the try anyway. The fact 2 wigan players stood over Mags slagging him off was probably done in the heat of the moment without them knowing the injury was as serious as it turned out. I would be shocked if they knew it was the case. Apparently one of those players has apologised.
To say we are a dirty team and Wigan are not when both teams have players who bend the rules and use high shots every now and then is also mistyfying. Teams will try and get away with whatever they can to give them a chance of winning.
Let`s move on to Saturday in what should be a great game.
For me with JP and Mags in the team we would beat you. Without them I am not so sure.
Happy travelling to Headers and may the best team win fairly and I am sure you will all wish Mags a speedy and succesful recovery

The argument that he was only trying to rebalance himself or grabbing out in agony - at that speed - is frankly silly. I'm sorry you're producing that lame excuse, because you seem to be one of the more sensible Leeds posters of the last few days.
Quote: "

It's a matter of opinion. Carmont has scored plenty of 50 yarders in his time at Wigan, and he'd have had a head start on all of them.
Quote: "
It was deserved... Phil Clarke said so..'"
Much as it may pain you, Phil Clarke is nothing to do with Wigan. Take it up with Sky.
Quote: "
But this is a Wigan board... Joel Tomkins was just stretching his legs as he was tired.'"
Joel did nothing to cost you the match. If anything, he helped you by gifting you a penalty under the posts. Maguire on the others hand, gypped us out of a last minute victory. It's not rocket science to understand the difference.

Decisions in recent matches between us suggest that, at the very least, you've had the rub of the green with the judiciary. Sorry if that's unhelpful to your position, but we're not making it up and you know we're not.

Thanks, I think thats only the 2nd time in about 6 years Iv heard anyone say im one of the more sensible posters
None of what I said I actually took seriously BTW. I was just taking the mick out of the situation. I dont for 1 minute think that what McGuire did cost you the game though.
Here we are, 2 weeks later, in the same situation as we were back then. There's 80 minutes left and the winners go to the GF. Wigan have won and lost at Headingley this year just as Leeds have won and lost at the DW. The team who wants it more on the night will win. Hopefully that will be Leeds but if not you will have deserved it.
Lets just hope for a great game no matter what the outcome ay.

Even going so far as proposing wearing masks etc. You cant have fans support his views but distance yourself from him

Whilst it may upset you more, it is naive to pretend that Mcguire's offence was any worse because it happened in the last minute and not the first. You had 80minutes to win that game, you failed and thats not down to one action out of the thousands in the game. Though i do actually hope the team are focussing on that 'injustice' as it will stop them addressing the reasons why they threw away a 14 point lead

Had Tomkins been sent off, which wouldnt have been unthinkable then Leeds would have benefitted much more from Tomkins not playing for half a game than Wigan would had Mcgiure been sent off which would have been a particularly harsh punishment in the context of punishments for obstructing the chaser, yet you are saying the judiciary favoured Leeds?
