| Quote: Rogues Gallery "It's another sad indictment of the move to U19's. Over the years we have gone from reserves, U23, U21, U20 to U19.
There is no way that the majority of U19 players are ready for first grade rugby. However I'm sure messrs Heathrington and Wood at their weekly meet up will be congratulating themselves.'"
The thought has crossed my mind that results like this are in part due to a lack of a proper reserve grade. I don't think we will be immune from it either if it is persisted with. It will affect the quality of players who come through as many will just leave the game or never even consider it.
At the moment our junior players who are doing so well did not come through this ridiculous system. Who is to say they would have under it?
It is also in a way quite fortunate we have had some injuries in that it has given several players a chance but with a fully fit squad there is nowhere for Taylor and Flower (to name but two) to get a competitive game if not picked for the fist team.
The new system does IMO promote the idea of 17 fist team players and then the rest of the squad as under 19's. That is the logical make up of a squad under this system.
If we have that then it is going to result in games where a team is going to be putting boy's out against men. I know that wasn't the case v HKR as we had quite a few juniors in the side but even so that is what can happen and it is stupid. Wane has made negative comments about the system so God knows why we voted for it.

| Many seasons ago in the part time era teams played 3 times over Easter our matches were always Wigan .. Friday...Widnes .. Saturday and Leigh on the Monday... and then these players were back in work on Tuesday, no complaints or moans then.

| My god the young lads was outstanding for you, the young lad who started at LF, No29 and No30, can't remember their names without looking. Great future for these kids and its great to see them getting their chance, not sure you needed the signing of Scott Taylor after seeing these lads in recent weeks.

Crosby didn't play. You might be thinking of Tuson, he had another great game.

| Just seen some footage from your game, doesn't Tuson look like he's running with a fridge on his back for his try.

| Spencer made 135m from 15 carries (around that figure anyway) yesterday which is a great effort from our 9th choice prop.
Crazy the depth in that front row.

| Some of those tries on the highlights were embarrassing for Hull KR, their fans deserve better than to see their team give up.

| This is why the team that wins the league should get more credit for their consistent performances throughout the season and that goes for any team, not just Wigan.
Credit must go to Wigans no excuses attitude going into the season and in particular the Bank Holiday weekend because I am sick to death of listening to excuses from a number of other coaches.
When Hull K.R. brought in Sandercock they must of hoped he was going to be another Micheal Maguire, well we found out with his comments before the game that he was far from it.
Awesome weekend for the club.

You know I think this is where a lot of the problem lies. Both Hull clubs seem to spend most of their time competing with the other Hull club above anything else. There seems to be an ethos of "As long as we beat FC / Rovers then that's all that matters", or "as long as we finish above them in the league" (even if it's Seventh over Eighth) then it's been a decent season.
I do think that if Hull KR had played ANY other club than Hull FC on Good Friday then we would have gotten nowhere near 84 points scored. Both clubs treat the derby as a final and then at least one club usually loses poorly on the Monday. Similar to pre-SL where you would generally see the Challenge Cup Final winners lose badly in the semi finals of the Premiership a week later.

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

And nothing at all like the Wigan/Saints 'ethos'........

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| when you lost 75-0 to saints how did that result happen and im not been clever just wondering what was going on at your club at that time for that to happen
