What a distinguished career eh?!?! Who ever signed him at wigan should never be employed again!!
Really dark times for the club then...murry,koloi, lester, Lee hansen etc!! at least now we only have the odd one or two to worry about!!
Mathers must be so pleased for that signing 12 years ago though....but for offering doc murray a trial mathers would have the distinction of Wigan RLFCs Worst Ever Full Back!'"
Dont remember him signing for the Wire, do they not want Mathers as well? |

I had a LONG Chat with Monie when He came back to Wigan in 1998 and the main Crux of the conversation was that we must NEVER sign a player as bad as that again!
I think if we cou;ld get to the Bottom of the facts You will find it wasnt Hughes either, I think a certain J Robinson may be to blame for that one! |

Moran played Full back against us in the 75-0 game and had an absolute nightmare. I have never seen a guy look so fed up walking back to the kick off from behind the posts after some of the stick he was getting from a group of Saints Lads. |

I remember his try he got against Wakefield in the Challenge Cup, chipped through, picked it up and scored under the posts, with his 'up yours' body language to the Wigan fans (who'd been given him serious grief for weeks). A mere 7 games later he was gone. |

What was it with Moran at Wigan? He did well at the Harlequins/Bronocs/whatever they are under now! Was it that he couldn't take the pressure at a massive club, didn't fit the play, alleged off field activities, or a combination of them all? |
