Only if it's free. And for season ticket holders only, too.

The first part's good news, the second part's probably untrue and largely irrelevant.

The second part is totally true and hugely relevant in that we'll still own land and an asset worth millions of pounds and WE have the say on who plays there and when.
Why do people have a problem with other clubs trying to better themselves without selling out?

Nobody has a problem with it.
You're being unlreastic and we're being realistic.
Can provide articles to suggest Barrow are looking to build a new stadium?
According to your Vice chairman, you're not moving from Craven Park:

Take his advice:
Quote SRCThe point I am trying to put across is that selling up and going into a new stadium can decrease income while increasing costs and before entertaining such a course it is best to take off the rose-tinted spectacles.

FWIW, I'd love a Cumbrian team it SL whether it's Barrow/Whitehaven etc.

If I had a problem would I have called the first part "good news"? Get a grip!

Quote SRC="SRC"Plans are taking shape to completely rebuild Craven Park which will take it over and above the SL minimum requirements.
No need to sell off the family silver or buy land. And with the club owning the stadium, they get to keep all matchday profits from the bar etc and keep all profits from advertising etc.
An announcement will be made in the next month or two I believe.
You probably won't believe what I've just stated, so just wait and see.'"
I think I'll just go off what your Vice Chairman stated in that same article, thanks.
www.nwemail.co.uk/sport/raiders/ ... ers/column
Quote SRCWhat about Craven Park then?
There is the room for it to be developed, including a lot of space at the Walney Road end to enable the Willie Horne stand to be lengthened.
At present there is a large room running the length of the stand which we cannot make use of because of the cost involved in having it made fit for purpose and stairs fitted for access.
The Duke St end and the Popular Side could be demolished. Extra crash barriers would vastly increase the potential ground capacity.
If, and I know it’s a big if, that could be achieved then there is room under the terraces for offices, a gym and hospitality suites (and modern loos) to be included in the plans when they are rebuilt.
For example, the new offices at Emlyn Hughes House could have been built under the Popular Side as part of a rebuilding of Craven Park and that space on Abbey Road used for something else.
Or alternatively, how about Furness College or the University of Cumbria having part of the campus based at Craven Park?
Good business for us ,but also green as it is making best use of land which is already developed.
So, the top and bottom of it is that we do not need to take the risk of moving to a new home and the many millions of pounds that would cost. We only need a few million quid to update and improve what we already have.
Simple as that then.
The potential for the ground, the club and the town is there for all to see. We just need the wherewithal to realise that potential.'"
Bit different to a 'new stadium'.
