North Stand Tier 3 is high, very high, but you get a pretty good idea of what is going on from up there and for a RL game the biggest problem is that you really can't distinguish between a kick along the ground or high up. You don't get much of a smell of deep heat or close up views of the players legs if you're that way inclined, but in terms of general view of the play you're OK.
The biggest problem I have with it is that the slope of the roof detaches you from the rest of the stadium so you feel like you are watching it on a giant TV with tunnel vision. Certain seats up there will have no view whatsoever of the big screen either, but then again that's hardly a unique scenario at any televised game. As other's have said though it's better than not being there at all, but I would choose to sit elsewhere if at all possible.

We were in £21 seats in NW3427 last year (I think), right near the back and with the underneath of the very top tier above us blocking some of the view - not of the pitch, but most of the stadium. Was great just to be there with my amateur team but the view and game experience was rubbish, wouldn't bother buying them again. We've got the £31 tickets this year.

Add to that, the stewards weren't allowing any beer at the seats, we ended up smuggling them in our jackets and supping on the sly.

........You ever have a subuteo pitch as a kid icon_wink.gif

In all seriousness....I have sat at the back of there and at the back of wembley (new wembley), and I dont actually think in terms of height your any higher.

At OT it is just the ridiculous roof (which does surreally make it feel like your not really there as you can only see the stand your in and the pitch(just), and the fact that you are further in depth away from the pitch IMO, that makes it difficult.

Wembley back row isnt the best but is bearable....OT for the reasons above, makes it difficult to follow the game, and you lose the attachment to it, which makes it harder to feel involved IMO.

The only plus side is it does give you a great insight to the runners in the game and a great insight to the tactical running plays- but it will also be hard to see whos who. You are literally that high up that you can see the whole pitch in your field of vision, and there is no need to move your head/eyes to follow the game.

For a general run of the mill final, where your a neutral, I would say great, its better than not being there, but I wouldnt like to be in any of those seats for a wigan final.....especially when its been so long between drinks.

Get some more and get em flogged!

I was up there in 2003, couldn't see the the score board, big screen or the deadball line. Poor view I'm afraid fella.
