Richie Myler. Sign that lad up! He will be worth whatever transfer fee Salford demand. An absolute gem to whichever team snaps him up first.

He's been a solid signing for Leeds but i think they have had the best of him.

I do like the sound of this Luke Bailey character from the Gold Coast.

From what i've seen he'd be the man we should be all over but he's said he'll only be coming over here for the 2011 season.

He's big without being too big, runs it in all day long and is as tough as they come. He'll take the big hits or give them out and just get on with it and is a fantastic leader.

We should do our upmost to get him here for 2011 when Fieldens contract is up.

I actually have to disagree after tonight, if we do have these two as our halves we need a deep-field kicker as our hooker or full-back as neither of these look particually capable, both being short-kickers. However the energy Myler injects is something special, and that Ratchford doesn't look too bad either, with Salford seeing this and using him almost exclusively as their kicker.

Hopefully he'll stay with Salford if we don't get him.

With the likes of Myler, Ratchford, Turner and Adamson coming through they're heading in the right direction.

Exactly - pointless for Salford to produce all these good youngsters if they're going to sell them to Saints, Leeds, Wigan, Bradford for extra £££. No point having an academy or even a salary cap if that's going to happen - the same teams just buying the same players off the so called "smaller" clubs.

Myler & Ratchford are going to be one helluva half back pairing for them. hope in many ways they stay with Salford, that is after all the whole point of both franchises and the salary cap.

However, if one/both wanted to come to Wigan, I wouldnt complain.

Personally think we will end up with Orford and a big rough prop. IL has to deliver. We cant have another season of "project" signings.

Well thats the thing isn't it, if other clubs ae willing to go in for them and take them away from Salford then we'll have to be because we can't afford to be missing out on talent like that.

You do get the feeling that without the new ground Salford will struggle to hold them but i hope i'm wrong.

Thats a nailed on struggle then.
