Looks a grand day and very un-play off like on the forecast and that’s music to our ears. I’m not as down on our chances in wet weather as some, simply because we have the best in play kicker in the league and the pack is playing so much better than earlier in the season but I’d still take a dry track without a doubt.

Is this because the actual best in play kicker in the league will probably be on our bench in Abdull.
Yeah, on the allocation looks like we're on course for 4500 and may need an extra allocation, Saints brought 4700 last year i believe??, we could match or exceed that which is a remarkable feat.
Anyone recommend any good food places near Wigan bus station, courtyard cafe any good? Will said places be rammed. Thanks in advance

Cheers! What about pubs open pre 12 near there too if any? Old Pear Inn says opening time only 12pm!

Abdull can have 2nd place!
In terms of Abdull, I’m surprised with that move to have him and Litten on the bench, especially in these high intensity games. It feels a little like Peters avoiding a big call to me but could be wrong. How do you feel it’s working? (Obviously you’ve been winning and winning comfortably but it’s unlikely to be comfortable wins this week and next). I don’t think it’s a massive issue against our pack but it could be suicide in a GF against Catalans and even more so, against Saints.
Courtyard is great btw, if you like burgers (as pointed out above).

| I'm fairly confident of the win, but who knows, particularly in this year which has been one of the best in recent memory. Same team for me, but can see Isa coming back in, and KPP to spend more time at prop.
Unfortunately, I'm off to Oludeniz tomorrow so can't make it, I'm gutted I won't be there to support them. However, I've done my bit, managed to convince the Mrs to move our pre-booked boat trip on the Saturday so I can watch it in a pub . If anyone knows any good places to watch it in Oludeniz or Hisaronu please shout up!!

I was in that area in September. In.Hisaronu lots of places were showing the rugby. Efes Garden for one but quite a few others nearby. They have chalk boards outside advertising what they are showing. Only issue with a Saturday is that they have access to virtually every football game so competition. My tactic is usually do a recce the day before and ask if they will show it. Rarely fails!
Good luck. I'll be in Perpignan myself hopefully watching to see who Saints face in the final!

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Have a good safe trip mate. We'll be watching with interest and hoping for a Sam, Mickey Mac and Tom Davies win.
Not sure if Gary and Jean are going.

| Quote: NSW "It’s so annoying isn’t it, I’ll be there but always a weird atmosphere, half empty stands, away support bring loads and are bouncing as they won the week before.
Salford 2019, Leeds in 2021 and 2022 were horrible defeats. Hope we talk about them this week.
Team wise Havard would be an enormous IN for us. Even to do just a 20 minute spell. Seems less likely than Isa.
Juniors been brilliant but didn’t play many minutes against Leigh and then playing in the reserves (unlike Hill), maybe he’ll be dropped for Isa.
I’d keep Junior for his size and power.'"
Agree 100% on Nsemba, he looked good in the Reserves final - not as a wide running 2nd row but as a very impactful defender - and in wet weather.
Hill couldn't play due to his ban from the Leigh game - so not sure if he would have played as a reward for good service in the reserves or kept fresh for the semi.
I have to say that Thornley gained yards for fun in the Reserves final and Shorrocks also looked good - plenty of headaches for the coach!

| Peet says Isa could play but Havard isn't fit.

| I’d play Isa and Nsemba and leave out Hill. KPP and Smithies to spend time at prop, alongside Ellis, Dupree and Mago.
