Utter lunacy from Powell. The game was already gone because of another big game abject performance. Won't be disappointed to see Powell cop a big ban. Comfortably the worst no.9 in the league and offers absolutely nothing.

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.

Disgusting tackle, could have broke the poor lads neck. I'm hoping for O'Neil getting a start and having a good run, if that's the case then Powell struggles to get back in the team. We have 3 x players who tackle like demons but offer nothing going forwards, no room for them all so having Powell out and O'Neil in will make us more potent around the ruck.

You know what, I loved Newton because he was obviously Wigan through and through. He'd bleed cherry and white if you cut him open. Loved the club and couldn't stand us losing. That's what I want as a fan.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones,Saints have had plenty of players over the years who have overstepped the mark,most notably Sonny Nickle,now going back to the incident only an idiot would say it shouldn't have been a red although how LMS didn't get a yellow i don't know he must have run at least 10 yards to get involved |
