Solid enough that Hastings should be back at HB. Smith wasn't great today and Hanley deserves to stay there.'"
Agreed, Hastings has to go back in the halves, Hanley stops there until Hardaker is back IMO

| And is it just me, but I don't like to see us, leading by 2 with ten minutes or so to go against a poor side, drilling the ball into touch on the last tackle. Good teams would be going for the throat.

But that was a really poor side game managing. Very sensible tactics.

| Some win that I reckon.
Feared the worst with no Hastings, then no Powell really worried me.
Both young hookers didn’t look out of place, Halsall I thought was really solid.
Hanley is improving but still looks nervous at times.
Wakefield (h)
Warrington (a)
Leigh (h)
Next 3 hoping for 2 wins (wire should be too strong), then get Hardaker/Bateman/Field into the mix and see what we look like.
Pleased for the young guys they got the win

I wouldn’t say we are a good team at the moment, two poor teams in a poor league.
Tonight was about trying to grind out a win which we managed.
Happy to see us wind down the clock and have a breather.

At the moment it seems they'd sooner back their defence over their attack, not surprising really seeing how clunky we are

| Obviously, I get all that. But it's still a bit of a depressing thought, isn't it? It's not like we were hanging on against the Sydney Roosters in a WCC!
Will we be doing it against Wakey and Leigh? Maybe.

When the match report/stats come out you can work it out by substitutions on/off.

Absolute waste of space him.
What was it last week? 4 runs the whole game. Pathetic

Bourouh came on after 27 and went off after 65

| Well done lads - great effort. Very little attacking edge again but understandable. The tries were soft but otherwise a good defensive effort.
O'Neil has very good distribution, Hanley and Halsall were solid, Smiths kicking game miles better, Leuluai led the way and Clark's impact was good to see. Great shifts from Faz and Partington.

That’s our reality at the moment and is a reflection of our injuries, our coaching and our recruitment.
Depressing like you say but at least we are seeing some promising young players show what they can do, let’s hope we can hang on to them.

| I think people are too stuck in a doom and gloom mentality to realise how good a win that was with the players we had out. Says something when Partington is singing praises of the young lads and he’s only 22 himself!!!
