| Definitely not. What's more, I'd like to be there should he ever have the gall to take the field at the DW as he has done in the past. Absolutely disrespected his former club and birthplace. No problem though.. He's an honorary Welshman now, don't you know..

Shaun Wanes shows interest in coaching in the NRL:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/22463939
IL confirms Lams short tenure at Wigan is a stepping stone to NRL:
https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/sh ... from-2020/
however Shaun Edwards cannot have ambition? IL deals with staff & players leaving for NRL - union in a way Starbucks deals with its staff turnover. He's got form in this and should have sat Edwards in the middle of the pitch at a desk with pen & contract in hand with a perfect photo opportunity. Now we have to face that photo forever & a day from rival fans. We had people on here pitching IL as a super savvy chairman, now I'm not so sure, everything as come at a cost which, OK is not comparable to Bradfords demise but it's in the next ball park.
As for Edwards, he is a fully committed serial winner and I'd still have him in a flash but sadly it's never going to happen.

| I'm ambivalent here now about SE coming to coach, but I did want SE to arrive and hopefully do a proper job. However, I have to say it seems to me that SE really just wants the best deal for him. Now if he was a player many on the forums would say "He is doing right...short career blah blah". Now why do folk take a different view if they are a coach ?
Is he not just getting as much dosh as possible in a short career ?
As a Wigan fan since the late 1950's I dislike that mercenary approach. But many feel that is the 'modern world'.
Now I have to ask , speculative in a sense, due to Lenagans 'austerity measures'. Have the 'goal posts' been moved at Wigan due to this 'cost cutting' ?
Sorry for mixing my metaphors, but has Edwards been denied money to buy players or is he having to put up with the players that poor Adrian Lam is having to put up with ? If so, why would he do that bearing in mind he currently deals with International players ?
I was speaking with a guy this evening, who 'nursed' Sean Wane whilst he was in hospital in recent times. He could not tell me of Wanes medical issues, of course. Wane was shattered mentally he said, but was still a very nice and honest guy.

| No, not now or ever. Yes, the club have dealt with this in a really amateurish way whilst misleading the fans but the fact remains that Edwards agreed terms and was happy to take part in the press conferences etc announcing his appointment from 2020.
To then play this out in the media the way he did is unforgivable. He's had his head turned and is now sticking 2 fingers up at the club who gave him the opportunity to become the player he was. You just don't do that to a club you claim to love.

You mean you'd let him in at all? I'd make him watch it from his 'conveniently located' London home.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

No matter what happens, he deserves respect for doing that, not booing
