A much needed tonic in my opinion. I've been getting very despondent in recent years, but this news is a much needed boost. I've also not really been a great fan of Mr. Lenagan, but I must loudly applause this coup by him.

Edwards only knows and wants great success. He is very ruthless in that goal too.

For the first time in many a year, I am looking forward to the future under new management - and with great relish.

I still recall when Alex Murphy went round to the Edwards household to sign Shaun Edwards. IIRC his dad used to play for Warrington. The rest as they say is history. But he is the most capped/decorated player in the history of Rugby League.

My family are delighted. My eldest daughter is a senior nurse in Leeds. She has been posting all about this on her social media internet forums/platforms such as FB. I can honestly say that the Leeds area are fearful of the potential of Wigan, the sleeping giant - whilst also supporting a decision that is also to the benefit of the RL superleague as a whole.

Lam wants to bring his son to Wigan to replace Williams, he certainly won’t be convincing him to stay.

It’s great to see two British Rugby League legends, Shaun Edwards and Sir Kevin Sinfield getting coaching in Super League.

If Edwards is successful I can see him taking over from Wayne Bennett as England coach.

You seem to be very friendly with Mr Lam - What did he actually say to you to come up with this?

If Sir Kevin is successful I would give the GB Role to him - Let Leeds look for a New coach?

It may have escaped your notice but we actually only have one real halfback at the moment, whereas most teams have two.

Here's hoping, for the sake of the game (because we need a decent Leeds), that your namesake is more observant.
