O'Loughlin was named in the squad yesterday.

| For me it's not just a gamble of fitness. SOL is a great ball player, with the improvement and willingness to throw the ball around over the last month or so, SOL is the perfect player to have in the team, he played his best rugby when he was in a team that had options and people running. He doesn't have to come in and do all the hard work, to just have him as an extra ball player and the confidence he gives to the team is a massive plus. If he puts his hand up he's worth the risk, even coming off the bench and keeping him out what will be a frantic first period.

I have no idea how we won it, but all through the game i was never in doubt.... The mental strength and belief in this team is unreal.

The bench was key. We were far stronger than Warrington in that department.

Yes we finally got a bit of luck and managed to get 17 senior players out there when it mattered. May well have been different if we had to go with Shorrocks and Bretherton who just arent ready yet (though both have done really well).
You have to hand it to Sean O'Loughlin to do that well out there coming in cold into a final after all that time out.

Might as well have someone sent off as we'll be playing a man down anyway.'"
Never happier to be proved wrong, absolute rock (apart from his first tackle )

Big moment for me was when he picked Hill up and dumped him on his back. A patched up Lockers doing that to the best prop in the league, he's an absolute beast!

I don't think it's luck that Sutton, Tierney, Gildart, Powell and Williams are now considered senior players...

Of course not. But good fortune that for the first time in months we were able to put together a bench of established senior players when it mattered in the Grand Final. Wouldnt have wanted Shorrocks and/or Bretherton out there with so little experience.
