| Quote: Geoff "It's going to be a tough game. As fc baldy points out, they've been lucky staying relatively injury-free this year, which is always a big help, but I think if we have a few more bodies back by then (or at least don't lose anyone else) we'll manage to edge a win.'"
I'd be surprised and very relieved if that happens, because as Nicky Kiss keeps saying if we can get our best 13 on the field on a consistent basis we've got a great chance at silverware. It's just one of them years though where we get one back but lose two more.

| We'll beat Hull. We'll ensure we have the likes of Tomkins and Lockers fit. With a fit first team we looks very effective, ripped a strong Castleford apart in the first half only to take the foot off gas in the second half.
I predict we'll be even stronger with the inclusion of some first teamers returning from injury and suspension.
Hull will get a shock.

| We play Salford the week before the Semi so an ideal chance to rest some players. Top spot could be guaranteed heading into the Super 8's by then also, with games against Hudds (A) and Leeds and HKR at home. I think our pack, as has done for 95% of this season, will be on top - it is whether our backs/halves can capatalise on that

We play Saints the week before the semi, not Salford.
Just spotted that E.W. beat me to it.

| Quote: MattyB "We will take quite a few but nowhere near as many as we would on a Saturday afternoon.
Let's look at it this way, the North Stand is never more than a block or two full in our Friday night SL fixtures when the Yorkshire teams visit.
Plus the game will be live on TV which no doubt will knock a few off. Hull should outnumber us easily for this one I reckon.'"
Just out of interest how many did Hull take to your place a few weeks ago on a Friday night for a meaningless league game on Sky?
For the comment about Hull not being ready for big games, take a look at the Hull v Saints semi 2005, first one in donkeys years and we blew Saints off the pitch

| Quote: NickyKiss "The Hull fan who mentioned it was the Friday night game on here last night was bagging us on the Hull board saying we'd all whine about it for the next month. Well in truth it's not ideal is it and it doesn't seem particularly well thought through but this is Rugby League and common sense is in short supply up at the top.
We'll have to grin and bare it. Our group will definitely be going but I wouldn't expect a huge following from our end.'"
Is there ever a big following away, surely you're all busy catching Shaun's toys and dummies? You stole, bought and cheated for years. Lindsey set the game back and successive administrators have continued the tradition.

Lindsay set the game back? He's possibly the most forward thinking chairmen in the history of the game.
Brought back the World Club Challenge competition attracting massive attendances.
Dragged the game kicking and screaming into the professional era.
Was instrumental in the move away from winter rugby.
Organised successful World Cup Tournaments with record crowds.
Arranged a massive SKY TV deal with the invention of SL, much to the joy of other club chairmen.
Turned many Wigan players into household names.
Let's not blame him for the sale of Central Park or near administration either, other mitigating circumstances caused those.
Without Lindsay the sport would probably have remained a winter game and semi pro by now. Name another administrator with as much influence in the last forty years.

I'm sure you'd love to go back to the days when Vince Farrar and the rest of the Airlie Birds ale-gut crowd dominated the game by basically rolling around in the winter mud better than anyone else, but you know, time had to move on, and Chairman Mo was a key part of that. But cheer up - it only took you lot 40 years to catch up.

8570.jpg Hull KR Chairman Neil Hudgell, August 26th, 2014 said..
"In fact, the days of us signing any players from across the river are over. Our fans are loyal, passionate and only interested in one club. Taking players from our nearest rivals doesn't fit in with that brief.":8570.jpg |

I may be wrong but I don't think [icrumpledshorts[/i is a Hull fan, I've never seen them on the Hull FC message board.

If he isn't, I apologise to you genuine Hull fans. I've never had an issue with you fellas, but idiots like him tend to bring the worst out in me.
