Flower punching someone has nothing to do with tactics or the way Wigan play. There is no part of our strategy that involves smacking someone in the opening 2 minutes of a game. I've looked at this closely through this year and last.
It's not just 'jumping on a bandwagon' or anything like that.

There are so many good aspects of Wigan's play - blitzgreig attack, very fast wingers, strong defence - but I really dislike that aspect. It's not what I call league and not why I go to watch rugby.
