Not me hombre, I never said we were rubbish, and I’m not trying to say we’re sh*t hot now either. All I say is Saints are a very good side and that we can get better; and about yesterday we were much the better side. End of!

| On the flip side, I haven't half noticed the 'Armchair Brigade' chirping up online about how good this Saints side is and that "we're back". Proper 'this is our year stuff'.
Bit quiet this morning though. strange.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

They have gotten some good results thus far, but it just shows how important the "Derby" is to our two clubs...

Agreed. The derby can never just be a 'two point game'. Likewise, while league results are of lesser importance under the current system, this one is a always seen as a measure of the teams' respective strength.
Good Friday has always been a very important fixture.

True, but it depends where you are at, I thought saints were running with a good deal of confidence and self belief, looks like it was all front from them, and it was paper thin. I really thought we would struggle against them, and through this season, but the management do seem to be able to get the team in the right frame of mind for crucial games. Saints fans can say all they like about being better on paper, but we certainly have a better squad at the moment. It's shaping up for a very interesting season..

I for one haven't tipped us to win anything and if I'm honest I don't expect us to. We are still lacking a few players in certain positions and rely on certain players to much.
I've said all year it will be Leeds v Wigan final at old Trafford.

4. Saints have a much better team/squad but because we are coached by an ape we are more aggressive

6. RFL are always on our side giving us an easy run all the time.
Have i missed any thing?'"
7. We were full time when the others weren't.
8. We still rent our ground from a football team.
9. We do the Wigan Walk (though I noticed the seats emptying in the Saints stands early yesterday ... must have been pie eaters sat in the Saints end?)

| Wigan were the better team there was no doubt about that on Friday, however I would say that I thought in terms of Saints we were not at our best. I don't think we were at our worst either. I think we saved that up for the first half of the Cas game where they ripped us a new one.
But we were in the game with 40 minutes to go, but just did not have the team ethic to defend and unlike Cas who fell away in the second half, Wigan upped their game.
A loss by 6 points and we could have written it off as Wigan just being better on the day, but Saints were also culpable for some of the loss. To me Wigan played at an intensity that we just never got up to and that is something that whilst you don't need it every week in SL, but it is something you need to beat Wigan in a Saints Wigan derby.

good ones, seen a few more as well.
10. McIlorum gave Wellens rabies.
11. Silverwood was under pressure to not penalise Wigan so it makes up for the clear bias towards saints the previous 2 weeks.
12. Saints only get penalised at kick offs for being offside but Wigan was as well.
13. Apeman only is good because of Madge (completely different team and structure but hey)
14. Shirley (guessing O'loughlin) has super fast reactions and knew if he tackled their rookie high when he was slipping he would take him out of the game.
15. We are a 1 man team (no longer sam Tomkins but Sean O'loughlin)
16. Leeds distracted Saints.
I think from this point forth any St Helens fans should be known as a deluded one.

Weren't at your best? You were utter rubbish. Especially that second half, it was like watching Wigan under Brian Noble.
But that was only because we dragged you into a midfield battle and our pack absolutely smashed yours. Waney's tactics worked perfectly... Again. Not bad for an Ape eh?

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

They're certainly building this guy up. His name gets mentioned in the reverential tones reserved Down Under for the likes of Frank Pritchard. I'd almost forgotten he's spent most of his career at Wakefield.

| Yeah aside from knocking them for maybe over hyping him a bit Amor has do e very well for them.
Saying that Soliola does well in most games for them but it doesn't stop him being knocked senseless everytime he faces Wigan.
