As a believer in promoting better inter-club relations I could make myself available to help in interpreting between your group and my fellow locals, I consider myself proficient enough to do so as I am a Wiganer born and bred, and I also own the complete box set of Only fools and horses.

| Believe it or not I actually work with an Ashton lad (in London) being from Golborne myself I am proficient in Wiganese, we once had a conversation in which we tried to speak as broad and as quick as we could, some of the people genuinely thought we were speaking a foreign language. We can actually slag people off in the same room who have no idea they are the victim of our barbed tongues.
Now King St is a decent night out but I would definitely avoid Ash Vegas unless you're a trained cage fighter, in which case it will be ideal for training.

| There's no such place as "Golborne", It's " Gowbun"
(Roberts' pies )
As for food, then a meyt an prater slappie should be the order of the day.
Regarding liquid refereshment, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. If it's good ale and banter, then the Anvil is a must.
You could also try the Tudor, on the other side of the bus station, a bit of a student type establishment, but make sure that your innoculations are fully up to date first...

Whens the last time you went Ash V? Its cheap (£1.80 pint - most pubs) and quiet -compared to Wigan & Leigh, however I wouldn't come all the way up north to have a session in Ash, unless you've been the races. Avoid King street at all costs

| Tickets booked in The South Stand. Please take pity on me especially as we could be at the end of a three figure drubbing!
I will be the one shouting Laaaaandon and will be with a bunch of bemused looking lads attending their first game of leauge (including a brazillian).

You should get on with the local ladies then, they like a Brazillian.
