| Quote: P-J "Why? His time will come.
Clearly Bowen is a safe pair of hands at FB. He's not the pivot that Tomkins was, but that's not his fault. We need to adjust our style of play with him back there. Asking him to be Sam is ridiculous.'"
I think the signing of Bowen could slow down Hampshire's development. He is good enough to play now and Bowen has done nothing in 3 games. Hampshire looks dangerous every time he touches it.

| Brave display from the lads. I'm very proud of the effort they've put in and gutted I couldn't be out there.

Hampshire couldn't have done any worse than Bowen today.

I was having a chat with a couple of Wigan mates this morning and they were both saying they were sick of hearing other Wigan fans with this type of attitude.
I'm not having a go at you specifically, but there does seen to be a large number of Wigan fans that are just happy that Wigan are playing in this game and they have nothing to lose. I actually saw a comment on Facebook this morning that said anything under a 40 point defeat would be "pleasing."
Yes they've got a much higher salary cap and were favourites to win, but there's been a lot of defeatist talk on here and that isn't like you lot. The Wigan team and the coaching staff don't look and sound as though they were just going over to make up the numbers and nor should the fans.

| Could've been a different story if Dudson hadn't come up with that knock on after we scored. Honestly don't see what he brings to our team.

Agree. You were on a good roll and Sydney were rocking a bit. All momentum was lost with that error.

Instead of picking the comments that suits your argument/bias.. Look at what some other fans think. This is from Twitter.
Total Attendance for tonight's #WCC 31,515 - With around 2,500 Cherry & White fans at the ANZ
I don't think they went to watch Wigan lose...

| Gould comments were spot on, if Wigan could play teams like this week in week out the gap would be a lot closer, shame we're about to hit reality with a bang next week playing the likes of Mathers against Wakefield.
