| think we lose too much intensity when Macca goes off for Logan, we need to keep the pressure on in attack and defence for the full 80 minutes.
Logan to miss out for me and probably Powell as well....we need size on the bench

5 props is also a must in my opinion. Leeds battered us in the forwards twice this year.'"
I agree completely, McIlorum should be playing 80 mins in the big games with a bench packed with forwards. From that squad selection however I think Logan will play. I can't see Logan and Sam Powell being dropped from the match day squad, surely another prop would have been in the 19. By the looks of the squad I think it'll be one of Gelling/Thornley and one of Powell/Logan to miss out. Big mistake IMO.

I agree with this, with no Lockers I imagine Flower will be starting at 13.
My only concern is Micky being wound up and losing his head, if he's sent off or loses it, I don't know how we'd work the dummy half, this being such an important decision, it could be where the game is decided.
All in all for me, should we be looking at signing another 9? We need more quality in such a key role. How about the bloke from Storm or the fella from Souths? Both them look ok

| I wouldn't classify either of those as marquee signings.

| Lockers is playing, so you can all pick your teams again, just leave Gelling out.

I'd love for that to be the case. I'd play Gelling still though, I think he earned his spot against Huddersfield.

Why wouldn't he be in the 19 man squad if he's playing?

| At the end of the day this is a play off semi final with a shot at getting to Old Trafford up for grabs.
Mcilorum has been spelled & rested all season so now is the time for him to work his booty off for the full 80 mins in all the games we have left.
No place for kids in this environment

I wouldn't name him if he was playing tbh. Where's the benefit in that? Leeds can plan all week for us playing a guy at loose forward who will carry the ball and tackle but not link the play up (Ben Flower) then on the day be faced with a guy in Lockers who seems to knit out side together.
We just need somebody to 'pull up' injured on training now to fit him in (wink wink).
I can't see it but if he does play they've done the right thing in leaving Leeds guessing.

| Lockers won't play. It was only 2 weeks ago when he said he won't even be getting the cast/boot took off his injury so I highly doubt he will be playing unless he's made a miricale recovery.
I'd love it if he did play though.

why all the negativity about logan?
It was same pre Wembley..i was in a small minority who wanted him to play, and im same now.
Lets look at the bigger picture.
Versus Hudds last game MM played 80 minutes. I cant argue with that, it was S*** or bust time. Lose and a Knackered MM gets a long rest, Win and he gets 2 week to recover.
This time its same scenario except he only gets a week off to recover for the most important game of the season, provided we win.
I dont want a clapped out half fit MM playing at old trafford, and neither does SW, thats why he'll name Logan on the bench.
I could be wrong, but dont think so

Why would Micky be knackered after playing 80 mins? Loads of hookers do it in the NRL and Micky has done it regularly for us. The issue with spelling McIlorum for Logan is not only are they are a similar style of hooker, but there is an obvious drop in intensity, both in attack and defence, when McIlorum goes off.
I'm definitely not writing Logan off as a player for the future, and I think he has been used well this year which will have given him excellent experience to build from, but I think it we are more likely to get to OT if he doesn't play on Friday.
