Sad to see a player retire when he should be approaching his prime.
One thing that summed up his 100% commitment when playing is that he used to finish a lot of matches with a bandage round his head that was oozing blood.

I think there is some formula for doing this. I also think Prescott will benefit from an insurance policy or possibly his contract will be paid-up via the club with funds from the proceeds of one. Not entirely sure how it works. |

How sad that injury has forced him to retire. He was one of my favourite players even though he did drop the ball from time to time!
