Does anyone know why the attendance was announced as 23,000odd not 25,004?

I thought that... Thought the DW's capacity was over 26,000 but they have to keep some empty in the North and South for health and safety... Wouldn't have thought there would have been 2-3000 seats empty!...

25138 I think. - EDIT - Nearly right. 25133 according to the DW site.

The 25004 that was announced was total pap. That was the capacity at the time but it was impossible to have that many on due to the unreserved seats. We sold out a year later and announced 24000 and something. This year it's 23800.

There were a few empty seats in both the East and West so I presume they sold the tickets but they didn't turn up thus knocking it down some.

The last few sell outs have all just been over the 24,000 mark cos of 500 seats left empty in the north and south stands plus 100 odd cos of big screen. Don't know where 23861 comes into it??

Saints end looked a few hundred down on their usual following. I appreciate its unreserved but there was a lot more space in the left corner then usual.
