Like Who? I'd say Watkins has as much potential as any centre we've produced since Schofield. Whether he reaches that potential I don't know but he's without a doubt a top prospect. |

Watkins is great with ball in hand, when his opposite number has the ball in hand he is a defensive nightmare.
With Slater going to get the full back job for the Roos in the World Cup Inglis will probably play at 4.
Kallum Watkins v Greg Inglis doesn't bear thinking about!

As opposed to the smaller slower Darrell Goulding coming up against him? The fact is whom ever comes up against Inglis, Folau, or Jennings is going to have their work cut out for them, it will be up to the England defenders as a unit to stop him getting any good ball. |

Indeed. Luckily Watkins has got all the skills required to play centre as well as the athleticism. |

Off the top of my head, Connelly, Lydon, Gleeson, Hunte, Newlove, Senior, Laughlin.
I dont think he's a bad player i think it just shows how low our standards are nowadays. |

Some good players there. I'm not saying Watkins is better than any of those players now, but he has as much if not more potential than some of those players did at 21. |

i rate watkins highly but he is someway off being in the calibre of other centres we've produced as named above - yet!
