They have doors similar to most footy grounds that can be locked/unlocked accordingly. I presume it will be fully open at weekend.

Quote: Katrina "Partly because I can't go because I'm on holiday, also partly because we played Saints 6 times last year, this will be our third of 4 this year, and we could potentially also play them twice in the playoffs again. We're playing them too many times.'"

If we were losing then I would agree but as we now have the upper hand how can you not enjoy beating them again and again?

This is the point exactly. People need to remember back to the years from 2005-2009 when we beat them twice from memory! You would have taken a GF win against them, followed by a challenge cup SF win, and a cup QF win... not to mention the last game at Knowsley road and the first game at their new home.... how can you get bored of that after what we went through... the 75-0, losing in the play-offs, a couple of shocking displays in Cardiff.... lets enjoy the moment, we are on top of them at the moment, lets enjoy it. I never heard saints fans saying they were bored of beating us for those years we didn't have a good side.

Another thing to consider is that they will be much harder to beat next season than this season with Brown going to saints as coach.

This is also a massive game for the table, wire are certain to get a win at the weekend and they could go ahead of us by a point.

Nah, we maybe RL fans but we can remember back further than one game and bar TP, not much has changed in the last week. Check the first 15 mins of the Saints Wigan CC game and the game tonight, very little difference in our play.

Wigan to win for me and I'm not that bothered, we need to build and it will take more than 2 weeks. If we are close come playoffs the coaching team deserve a medal.

Saints look a decent outfit aside from the Wigan games under Rush. They know they've haven't produced in the two games against us this year and will target Sunday as a game to get them back in people's thoughts when it comes to who they think can win the grand final.

It'll be the best derby so far this year IMO.

Oh dear

The Mascot Olympics

This is it! All the years of training and gym work come down to this, the 2012 Mascot Olympics. The 14 Super League mascots (plus a couple of special guests) will battle it out for the gold, silver and bronze medals. Previous champions include Ronnie the Rhino and Rufus the Robin but an Olympic gold is the one they all want. Move over London, the real action this year's in Manchester......

Oh and just before your team takes to the field your mascot will need to hear your support as he takes on his rival in a pre-match dance off!!

Can't disagree with the skipper hereI'm really looking forward to the Magic Weekend. I think the idea and concept of taking Rugby League on the road is great and hopefully the people of Manchester will come out to see what all the fuss is about. The only downside to the weekend is the fixture list, I think it should just be a normal round of fixtures rather than specially selected ones as it gives an unfair reflection on the league placings. If it was just a normal round then each team would play each other twice and the league table would be accurate and fair after 26 rounds.

Maybe on the spare weekend we could then have an Exiles game? I think it's great we are having two this year but do wish the second one, which is going to be between rounds on a Wednesday night, was on a standalone weekend like the first. I'm really looking forward to that this year and the England boys really want to avenge that defeat from last year. From an international perspective I think it's great we get a mid-season game against strong competition. It can only help us when we host the World Cup in 2013.[/i

But then one team in each fixture loses a home fixture.

What they should actually do is use the magic weekend to bring back the magic of the cup. Have the QF's as the magic weekend.

Or the semi-finals and include the NRC final as well.

It has hit an all time low in terms of fairness this year with us and wire being the front runners and them having an easier list of fixtures.

i dont like wire's as much as the next wigan fan, but to be honest i think this weekend will fair things up for warrington they had by far the toughest easter weekend by traveling down to france and faceing catalan. so its just evening its self up.
