A bit of good old fashioned honesty is a good thing in situations like this.

Wane has a broad accent and he wears his heart on his sleeve but you only need to look at the areas he's targeted to improve from the Maguire era to see he has something about him.

He knew our defensive structures were fine but knew there was real room for improvement in attack and spent a full off season working on just that. He's given the team a licence to throw the ball around and chance their arm and the backing he gave to lads like Goulding and Hock pubically in pre season has reaped it's rewards.

No doubt having Maguires structures to work with have given him a huge helping hand but to suggest he's solely riding on Maguires coattails as the odd saints would wants us to believe is disrespectful and pretty laughable.

Agreed - plus he's resting players and giving the youngsters more chances than Madge ever did (even if it did go wrong v Widnes).

The squad lost 4 or 5 top class experienced heads last year yet due to Wane giving the youngsters their chance our squad looks deeper.

When Sam scores he should do " The Backwards Trot " new dance, in front of the North Stand, which I believe will be empty, apart from a wedding reception , infact he could ask the Grooms permission for the first dance

Personally I wish he'd stop turning into some sort of rent-a-quote coach and let the players do the talking.
