Waney might be taking opportunity to try both King and Gelling out for one game each. Whoever looks better gets the job against Hull should Pat not make it. King will have to go some to top Gelling's showing against Wakey though

Gelling not selected if fit is stupid, lad has a decent game probably walked off with alot more confidence then gets rested the week after when hes crying out for match fitness. No sense in it unless hes got a knock.

just hope he is back against Ull, Pat just seems he is carrying an injury and lost more than a yard of pace. Gelling reminds me of a very young kevin Iro deceptive spped due to his long stride acton

Can only thing Gelling must have a knock not to be playing really. He was very good against Wakey and this seems an ideal opportunity to try him in his natural position of centre. I trust Wane totally though and the only other reason I can think of is that Wane wants to keep him on his toes and keep pushing him to get fitter and better and maybe at this stage he feels 2 games on the trot for him will breed a bit of complacency.

From the squad I'd go-

Perhaps Waney's plan is to play Gelling at centre when Pat is back.
Carmont is unlikely to go the rest of the season without missing a game so maybe then Gelling will come in.

I agree. That will probably be the 17 though Crosby may get a bench spot instead of Spencer.

I think he may spell Hock and Tuson as they both played alot of minutes last weekend with Dudson and Spencer doing the lions share of the minutes in the front row to give Preccy a rest.

I also think he may give Charnley a rest and play both young wingers with experience inside them although I think its a long shot with the kicking situation.
