| Blaming the referee is tragic, wane should keep his mouth shut, even if he is going to ring the rfl why tell the press? What happens if we get a dodgy decison go our way (am i right in thinking the myler penalty lead to a try?), will he complain then? Doubt it.

Wane will see out his contract no matter what (unless we seriously implode), IL is pretty loyal and so he should be, now he has the job they have to give him a good stab at it.

Fair play, that's good to see and rare in sport these days.

| Quote: supercat "From a Neutral point of view he's entiled to. Firstly the ball that Finch picked up when a Wolves player lost in tackle should have been allowed to run and score and the ref could have looked at the screen after which would have been a try. Also the Briers interception he's a foot offside from play of ball. Pedantic i know but this would have been a penalty to Wigan instead of a try to Wolves. Think the stigma of using the vid has got to some refs and they are hastily awarding trys.'"
The whistle had gone and most players had stopped well before Finch picked the ball up. It's something we see every week. Briers is in line with the TJ who is doing his job and marking the 10.

I was going to mention this, 1 thing a hate as a speccy is the referee taking players back 12 instead of the 10, it's almost like they dont know how far 10 is!!

| Wasnt one of the criticisms that people had of Maguire was that he didnt complain enough about the referees and that he used to just put up with shocking refereeing displays?

That must be quite a few then are morons.
Every other week there was a thread bemoaning the fact the Madge had kept quiet when he should have been moaning all over Cummings.
I am in two minds over this. Part of me think that they should be pulled up for blatant mistakes. The other think that you should keep it in house and use it to fuel a siege mentality.

If you saw some of the stuff that has to get deleted, you'd be absolutely correct.

It wasn't every other week, just if we lost and the usual pee and wind merchants looking for the usual comfort blanket. Lenagan prefers to do his correspondence with the RFL in private and has said as much in the past. For all we know Madge might have been on the phone to Cummins like a stalker every Monday he just didn't whinge and whine like a 7 year old to the papers when we lost, which is essentially what some people seem to want.

I much prefer that option.
IL and Madge give very little away. IL is very clandestine in his operations and when he does decide to voice an opinion it usually has more clout.
Regarding Wane
I may be in a minority (might be the opposite) but i feel that at points this year, we have performed much better than we have in a very long time and i include MMs tenure. The only problem we have had is a lack of consistency during an 80 minute period.
If SW feels the need to inform us of every little gripe he may have, either with the players or the Refs, then so be it.
It will only be a rod for his own back unless we are winning.
He is still a rookie at the end of the day

Just with regards to the Josh Charnley incident, I was convinced that it was a penalty to Wigan when I saw it, but did anyone one else hear on sky its off side, first against you then Warrington. Then a few minutes later you hear someone ask him what was the penalty about down there and he says Josh Charnley tackled him in the air?
Ok the wording is not likely a 100% but I am sure that’s what I heard.
