Leeds were in this boat last season, and we all know what happened next?'"
There are a fair few differences between Leeds last year and the smellys this year. Leeds had just got a new coach and he was rattling some pots. They also needed to make a good few changes to their playing roster and in general were in a state of transition at the start of the season. The smellys should be building on their success in coming second again but they look pretty poor. James Graham had the same effect for them as Andy Farrell had for us and now they've lost him, a lot of their mediocre players are showing their true form. Wouldn't write them off just yet but last night was a bad loss and they were soundly beaten.

| From the St Helens walk on redvee.net..... now 3 pages long!
They're lucky we stayed as long as we did.
I thought a fire alarm had gone off the way everyone left so quickly, so I just followed them
Maybe it is more noticeable in the new place, but it has been happening for years mate. The amount of times even when we were winning at KR and I looked down from the Scaff at the rows of people walking down the alley along the Pop to the exits are too many to mention. We have always done it, and when we lose a stinker at home we have always done it. Think back also to the last few GF's when our team have gone to applaud our end to find it half empty. It isn't something I do, but to say we don't do it is very generous to our fanbase who are just as fickle as any others.
I didn't hear the booing tonight but I'd probably already left.
I'm not paying to watch this sh*te everyweek.
17 robots against 17 robots. The entertainment factor is no longer. That's my point. If we were winning with drive, drive, kick, it wouldn't change my opinion

| From a while ago but well worth a read.
Quote: Mugwump "Looking at Wigan's roster I'd say that - provided its developed properly (and there's little evidence that it will be at the moment) Wigan are a minimum of five years away from being serious trophy contenders.
Wayne Bennett himself couldn't shave down that figure.'"

| as a hull fc fan, i think we do deserve some credit, as per normal when one of the much fancier teams get beat by teams lower in the league, its always because they played poor, credit must go to hull defence whe were superb, half the reason saints were clueless in attack was because of our resolute defence, something gentle has brought to us this season

| I watched the SL full time show and watching the try scored by Turner I wondered who has been the sprint coach at Saints? Looking at the running style of Shenton it must be Thelma from Scooby Doo

| Coming back home on the train with Leeds fans following our game with them, one in particular was looking foward to the game against Saints then......just to have a gloat for Leeds' GF win....heaven knows what he's going to be like if Saints don't pick up a result against Bradford.

| I have watched Saints for 50 years. We have many bad runs in that time as Wigan have.I Expect us to win all our so called tough games Against Leeds Warington and Wigan with my red vee glasses on.The way we are playing we could loose all 3 but I bet we don't.Never write Saints off.

To be honest I don't think Hull deserve any credit as they were almost as rubbish as Saints. It was really a question of who was the least rubbish would win. I can tell the coaches come from the same stable: early season utter dross and boredom.

Who's writing you off? We're just enjoying your current humiliation in the light of the ludicrous way you lot wrote us off after losing out first game of the season (by 4 points, against a vastly better team than yours).
