| It's a bit annoying that they manage to get an allocation of at least 5,000+ for the North Stand plus tickets in the East and West and we only get 2-3,000 when we go there, but not much can be done about that seeing as the capacity is 7,000 less than ours.

| I must admit I dont see how its gonna work having both Saints and Wigan fans in the East Stand Terrace. I have two young boys aged eight and nine and have watched both our home games from the East Terrace. However, ive been down there and purcahsed tickets for he south seating area for this one. I love going to the DW but would be put off going if the North Stand was a quarter full of Wigan fans ( Not that i have anything against you guys). In my opinion Wigan/Wire should get the full 4k allocation of East stand as you would sell out 3 times over. Any saints fans desperate to go would buy South or North Stand tickets anyway.........Cant Wait. Good luck getting tickets. see ya there

I don't think that would be a problem. I think the respect between the two supporters in this derby is second to none and lets not forget that we used to mix on the old Kop at Central Park all the time.
I'm just not sure why we are only getting a 2,300 allocation myself. I assume the capacity isn't going to be full capacity for this one because of the safety concerns. Only think that makes sense to me. I don't get why the away end isn't segrated in terms of movement between stands either? As I believe you can move between stands?

| Are you sure you can use the E-ticketing website from 9am?
Don't know whether to use that or go down to the stadium.
It says nothing about E-ticketing on the wigan website saints ticket news page.

You have to add their client code to your account under a "friends and family" bit. Think it's fairly self-explanatory when you log in to your e-ticketing account.

The 2,300 allocation may basically be down to that being the number left. Some say and it's only rumour that 1000 tickets for the east stand where already sold via the website. those sales have to be honoured.
Whose to say, who bought them, Wiganers or Saints or Neutrals (as we do get them on good friday)
As for those who want a similar allocation as Saints get at the pie dome, well that's just not feasable.
If wigan had 14k season tickets, and a floating fan section of between 5-6k ontop of that, then that would lead to Wigan having to restrict Saints too. The Pie dome has got pretty close to a sell out, but never sold out due to it's larger capacity. In the end those who where quickest off the mark have their tickets in the bag and have no worries.
If Saints can get our capacity up from the current 17,200, then maybe more will become available later, as it does say an initial allocation. But put simply the reason for the restriction on numbers is the same as always demand exceeds supply.
There are only a limited way to stop this, you increase prices (reducing demand) or you have sort of queing system and those at the back of the queue get last pick or no pick at all. The queuing system here was technology and information, those with it got a ticket those without it are going to have to wait.
I'm not going either way this year. But hopefully the lack of supply will encourage even more season ticket holders for next year at Saints.

Saints fans shouldnt have been able to buy tickets for the away stand before Wigan were given an initial allocation imo. Wigan fans dont get an option to buy North stand tickets for any game. We should have been given the full stand and if any tickets were unsold, sent back to Saints who could then sell them to their fans.

This is the only problem with us having such a large stadium. People know for a fact they can walk up for every single game other than a Good Friday derby match.
Thankfully the south stand has sold out for the first two games of the season. With just 400 left for the Catalans game I can see the same happening again. This will hopefully increase the demand and we will see more tickets bought before the matchday and potentially more season ticket holders next season.
I hope the capacity for good friday at saints is at the limit, it would be a shame for so many people to miss out on such a huge game.
Personally, I would love for us to get to a point where we can only give the away fans a couple of blocks in the North stand on derby day. I suppose it is great for saints that they have enough demand to fill most of the stadium by themselves. It is a good problem for Rugby League to have.
I dream of seeing ticket touts outside every rugby league venue I go to.

This is RL though, why can't fans mix? The three remaining stands (bar the west which is sold out through ST alone) are available to anybody who wishes to watch a game at LP, but most of the Wigan following will end up in the East.
Wigan fans don't get an option of buying North stand tickets because that is unnecessary. You are unlikely to fill out three stands and there to be demand to sell tickets for the fourth as the DW is much bigger than LP. This is what happens when we have 11,000 ST holders, that just leaves around 6,500-7,000 advanced tickets whereas there would be around 14,000 advanced tickets available at the DW.
Anyway I can't see why Wigan are complaining, I'm guessing that most of the tickets bought through saints were bought by Wigan fans which eases the pressure on your 'initial allocation' somewhat.

| Trying to buy my Saints ticket and my account online is telling me I don't have the correct privileges. I wasn't a season ticket holder last season so that's probably why, but now am. Have tried the "Activate my Account" and my client code is apparently invalid, have tried a new account and still get the same message.
Anyone got any ideas?
