The poster may make light of the some of the comments in his post but he/you forget that they may incite violence as in my experience the rivalary between the leeds / wigan fans amongst some doesnt always stop at "just freindly banter"

And on your other point regarding terminology used , i work in the sector and also have children of that nature and mark my words there is far more fun and banter goes on with comments that would make your hair curl if you are easily offended.

I think you need to look at some of the posts on your own forum before you go looking for mouse farts! Some of the anti-Leeds rhetoric goes well beyond banter! The "Re: Lee Smith" thread a prime example.

I also seem to recall Wigan fans hoping that a certain Leeds player's injury would end his career. But of course, because it's Wigan fans saying it, it's fine.

The parts that seem to describe Wigan as an evil character worse than Adolf Hitler and Skeletor combined mainly!

Molehills seem to be bigger in Leeds when divine intervention is suggested as travelling advice to Wigan!

Also my comparison was very tongue in cheek, just illustrating how laughable it is that this man is speaking for a whole section of rugby league apparently

Having read some of "Damos" postings in the past, it is par for the course and reading some of the responses it has served its purpose. It would be better to ignore him.

This was advertised on the Leeds forum and my twitter because it was intended for Leeds fans. Yes it was a given that Wigan fans would stumble upon it. I never went out of my way for Wigan fans to see this article. As far as I’m aware all the comments by Wigan fans with regards to this article came after Wigan beat Leeds at the weekend. I’m fine with that and I can take as well as give banter.

However it’s a new week now and the focus is all on Leeds Rhinos v Manly Sea Eagles for me. If people want to drag this out for weeks on end then feel free to do so.

Not a PC lecture also have first hand experience of "banter" and the main thing is know your audience. I would suggest a forum where you know very few people reading is not appropriate
