And you'd be wrong. Warrington finished 13 points above Leeds and were last season's best team irrespective of a much simplified playoff format. I do take the point, however, that no-one cares. Have a so-so season then come good from the second week of Sept and you will be recognised (wrongly) as the best.

Maybe. The point is that no-one cares about the league leaders shield. What happened last season has affected my attitude this season. I don't care as much about the weekly rounds any more as I'm (fairly!) certain we'll make the playoffs and with the format as it is you don't have to beat everyone above you to win the GF. So, who cares that we lost last week or even if we lose on Saturday? Not me. The way to bring credibility to the league leaders shield is to toughen up the playoffs - which won't happen in a comp with no relegation.
Back on topic, Leeds by 6.

| South stand has sold out. Crowd should be around 16k for this one.
We'll get beat though.

What is the full name of the shield Wire won last year? [iLeague[/i Leaders Shield
Are you acting stupid or is it a medical condition? [iNot sure on this one, i'll go for acting because i dont think you would be allowed access to a computer if the medical condition was this serious!
[/i
What form of competition would you call the stage immediately before the playoffs in Super League? [iLEAGUE[/i

| Again, you have made bold the wrong word. They won the league LEADERS shield. Not the league WINNERS shield. Yes they finished top, yes they were better for 27 rounds, but the rules are (which everyone knew at the start) that the league winners are the Grand Final winners. Hence why the WCC is not Wire v Melbourne.
For the record, I dnt agree with the playoffs but they're here to stay. If we came top this year then we would not be league winners unless we won the GF. The record books will NOT show Wire as the 2011 league winners. If they even get a mention it will be as the team in pole position at playoff time.

Around 13500 sold by the looks of the site then isn't hospitality added on to that?
Add in the walk up on the night and Leeds usual 2 minibuses full and we should hopefully get above 15k.
