As mentioned elsewhere, Hull KR had one that went everywhere in the 80s - all it said was HKR.

Its over 6 foot wide so wouldn't fit on my wall.
The picture had to be taken on an angle because its so big and the flag wasn't fully straight.
Maybe it will look better in the flesh...
At the end of the day its a Wigan forum, so no surprise it has been shot down.
But who cares? Its not for them. It represents our club's history.
Maybe I'll get a new one ordered with a skull on it

As part of the "Farewell to Knowsley Road" events the club release our heritage shirt. The shirt is chocalate and light blue in colour in homage to a jersey we wore in 1890. It was well received by fans and is still worn by many of us. With this in mind it was suggested that a flag could be made using this colour scheme instead.
Tha flag went through a few iterations but in the end this design was agreed upon (without the addition of the "Play Up St Helens" badge)
How you can say that it "looks absolutely crap" is beyond me.

Two solutions then...
1) See a Doctor.
2) Don't look at it.

| I would like to point out to Saints lot on this thread that the Brigantes formed in 2009 and now own over 50 different flags with at least 25 more on order, not to mention the large hand held stuff and big wavers, the website, the merchandise etc etc etc so its not really a comparison. Good luck though.

That being the case then I'd suggest you consult a qualified electrician before you go wiring up any plugs.

I don't see your point. What the "Saints lot" were disputing was the ridiculous notion that we were somehow copying you lot by having flags. BB's excellent post illustrated the absurdity of this rather well.
The quantity of flags is completely and utterly irrelevant.

| Jesus wept. I thought the days of dick measuring with Saints were behind us now Wire are doing well
Who cares that their flag 'appears to be' cherry and white? Who cares that Saints had flags before Wigan? Who cares that Wigan now have more flags than Saints? Who really gives a shiny e about any of that?
I think a few people should grow up.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| I made, albeit crude, a pirate's flag incorporating the Wigan badge when I was working as an engineer in the merchant navy in the late 90's (it was for a laugh at the time), therefore my flag predates both Saints and Wigan's. Winner!!!
Sadly it blew away five minutes after it's creation into the Indian ocean. But it's still there somewhere representing Wigan from 200 fathoms.

You're right, it's not a comparison cos Brigantes have only been around for two years and we're all old enough to be their dad.
But the history of flag waving didn't start in 2009 so don't crack on like it did - that's OUR point.
