| I suppose I'm very fortunate, with the exception of Johnny Ring, I have seen all the players you have mentioned. My father just to rave on about Johnny Ring and said he was the fastest winger he had seen.
The most outstanding players for me, were Martin Ryan, Cec Mountford, Brian McTigue, Ken Gee, Billy Boston and of course, Brian Bevan. Bevan was, without doubt, the most exciting player I had the privilege to watch. He always looked like "a bag of rags" on the field, having taken out his dentures and his knees would be heavily bandaged but what a player he was and of course his records prove it. He was well liked, not only by the Warrington fans, but my all other rugby league fans.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Boston
Sullivan
McTigue
Hanley
Kenny
Ring
Despite all the names, these are the ones I hear most often when it comes to the players who were the best to watch.
I wish I had seen the early 90's teams properly as well to be honest, thats too many players to name though.

| I saw Boston, Ashton, and McTigue at the end of their careers, but would liked to have seen them in full flow. As a Wire fan, Brian Bevan is someone I would have paid a lot of money to watch.
