| What a big soft babby Royce Simmons is. Typical Aussie, who's been made even worse by St Helens' institutional excuses policy.

Erm, remind me again how Morley got his eye injury, I seem to remember it being in the game v Saints in an 'incident' that lead to a St Helens player getting a ban, but I must be wrong as they never commit any fouls.

| Quote: onedego "So, speaking of double standards, 2 Super League coaches have been fined for speaking out against the referees this season, this is the second time Whiney Boy Simmons has moaned, and no doubt, the second time he'll get off with it.
Nothing like winning gracefully eh?'"
I think you will find that at least 3 superleague coaches have spoken out about wigans underhand tactics this year.A lot of what they do is certainly against the spirit of the game if not illegal.Maguire is a very good coach in that he has got wigan playing far better than they should be with the players he has,and has got them super fit,but part of me wants him gone because of the tactics they employ and the sneaky way they try and bend some of the rules. For instance The first half when foster was kicking a pen all wigans players walked towards him to deliberately put him off .This is just one of many tactics employed by him and the sooner he returns to oz the better the game will be.

Good to see you back. I'm guessing Saints beat Wigan recently.

| One of the coaches that did speak about Wigan's brutal tackling was Richard Agar at the press conf after Hull FC's game at the DW.
That was a thug a thon from FC with Wille Manu leading the way and Yeaman not far behind. Joel took a big head shot from Yeaman, got the pen and then managed to get himself sent off. Ganson was woeful. Sending Joel off was the only decision he got right all night!
At the press conf Agar spoke about the brutality of the Wigan tackling!
A truly jaw dropping moment after seeing his team for 80 mins. They'd lost of course.
I'll say one thing for Simmons, he seems to have taken John Monie's advice in that a coach should only complain about the referee when he's won.

| Quote: SaintsFan "as well as two tackles in the air, both of which went unpunished.'"
Not sure about 2, but there was definitely one where the Saints players whined about their man being "taken out in the air", to which the ref rightly pointed out that the ball had bounced BEFORE the man jumped up while it was on the rebound, which means that the hit is LEGAL.
I quote from the RFL rule-bookMid-air tackle 1. (b) It is illegal to tackle an opposing player attempting to field a kick whilst the player is in mid-air. The catcher must have returned to the ground before being tackled. (See Section 15.).'"
Therefore, if you jump to field the kick and are taken out, it is a penalty.
However, if you let the ball bounce, you are no longer "fielding a kick" and a mid-air shot is absolutely fine.
Stop whining and learn the rules.

Ok. I will remind you again. Morleys injury was accidental and in no way related to the banning of any Saints player whatsoever. It was thought by Eddie H. that the incidents were related but they were not.
